The Collective Sea Scream is the space women can come together, connect and anchor deeply back to our bodies and practise being heard. 

It is somewhere we can safely hold space for our anger, our grief, our heartache and all the parts of us we have been told are ugly, unworthy and should stay hidden. 

During the Collective Sea Scream, Giordan uses a blend of nervous system tools, breathing practices, vocal activation and somatic experiencing to guide you safely through the process of exploring your emotions, holding space for the wisdom of your body to be revealed to you. 

It is profoundly healing for women to practise being heard in safe spaces; when we practise being heard in safe spaces ~ expressing ourselves, our needs and our boundaries in all other areas of our lives becomes easier, it feels safer for us to do in our nervous systems and we learn to trust ourselves & our intuition more, too. 

We do these classes in all weather conditions and every single scream is different, offering you new layers of  unraveling and healing each time.

Accessibility note: movement suitable for all bodies, access to the beach is by ramp and the class is held on the sand.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:

If you need to change or cancel any bookings, you can do so up to 24 hours before the starting time of the class and receive a full refund or transfer to the next class.

By booking classes within 24 hours of the scheduled start time, you won’t be able to change or cancel your class.

Any class cancelled within the 24 hours will not be refundable. However, they may in some circumstances be eligible to transfer to the next class, so please still contact us.

Any class missed by you without notice will be classed as a no show and will not be refundable.

If any class is cancelled by us for any reason, we will make every effort to contact you via email to let you know and give you the option of a full refund or to transfer your booking to the next class.

Please note that the rights of cancellation, refund or limitations set down in these terms & conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Lateness Policy:

Please arrive to class at least 5 minutes before it is due to start.

Due to the nature of our classes and for your own safety, it is at the teacher’s discretion to ask you not to join the class if you are over 5 minutes late. This is to help prevent injury as well as to be considerate to the teacher and other students who are already participating in the class.

If you turn up late for a class and are not admitted, the cancellation policy will be applied and it will be classed as a no show.

Me and my best friend went to a Sea Scream with Giordan and it was everything we needed. Even just seeing that a ‘Sea Scream’ event existed healed something in me. There is something so magical and empowering about seeing Giordan take back the power of our instincts, all the things women have been persecuted for, for CENTURIES - and Giordan is the wonderful woman bringing it back to us. Meditating and screaming at the sea was so emotionally charged - allowing us to be free in a way that is not accepted in our daily lives. Looking forward to the Sea Scream got me through the week and I’m looking forward to practicing more with Giordan through her Movement is Medicine and Love Yourself Yoga. Thank you so much!

Sea Scream. Wow. What a euphoric experience. There's just something about screaming swear words at the top of your lungs that is completely unmatched. I recently attended The Collective Sea Scream event on Crosby Beach.

This is a ‘safe and healthy way to come to terms with and release emotions such as anger that you may have been repressing all this time.’

We watched the sunset on the beach whilst meditating and screaming away anything that no longer serves us.

We talked, breathed, stretched, danced, howled, hissed and even burnt any negativity away in the mini cauldron and left the ashes to be swept away by the tide.

‘Anger, frustration and other repressed emotions can wreak havoc on our nervous systems, these sessions can show you how to release and liberate yourself of the shackles these emotions keep you in - in a safe and healthy way.’

It was such a therapeutic night where I came away feeling cleansed and calm. 

I also have new breathing techniques to help me through stressful times (such as my wing walk!) 

Giordan is ‘devoted to helping women learn to prioritise & fall back in love with themselves.
She is committed to educating people about the power of movement as medicine.’

When a woman begins to tap into her dark feminine energy she embarks on the first step of the journey from her maiden archetype, the ‘damsel in distress’ ~ towards becoming her own agent of change, someone who can claim her deepest desires and needs, without apology. 

Women have been associated with darkness since the beginning of time. In myth and religion, we were the ones who ruled the night and the moon. 

When it was turned against us during the burning times, it became necessary to hide this part of ourselves. Our darkness became something to be feared and avoided ~ at times, at all costs ~ if we wanted to survive. 

Now it has become something that hundreds of years of patriarchy have taught us to stifle ~ along with the darker traits and emotions of the dark feminine, anger, rage, sadness, passion, sexuality & creativity ~ traits and emotions that once we were revered, respected and deeply admired for. Think goddesses Kali, Lilith, Innana, Lakshimi & Isis.

This time is for you! So let your roommates / partner / kids / pets know not to disturb you for the two hours of the session - barricade your bedroom door if you need to!!

Set yourself up in front of a long mirror if possible with plenty of blankets & pillows on the ground for comfort. 

Dress for You, from something sexy, silk baby doll dress, stockings etc to cosy pjs or just a white t-shirt - all welcome as long as you can move freely & you feel like a goddess! Maybe put on your favourite perfume.

Make sure you set up your sacred space before the session, light candles, incense and rose petals, pour yourself a delicious drink and so forth. 

Have an eye mask & some massage oil / ready to use on skin essential oils nearby.

And your journal & a pen. 

The breathing practice  should not be done if:

- You have a history of seizures, epilepsy or have any other serious medical condition
 
- You are pregnant (while pregnant women can do breathwork - it should be done with supervision)
